We are looking for a reliable freelancer based in Japan to assist us with a one-time logistics project.

Our products are currently stored in Amazon Japan fulfillment centers. We need a local contact who can receive the removal shipments and prepare them for export to Europe.

Tasks

* Receive several shipments sent by Amazon Japan to a Japanese address.
* Temporarily store the cartons until all shipments have arrived.
* Repack or consolidate the products into standard export cartons (packing materials can be provided or reimbursed).
* Apply shipping labels if required.
* Coordinate the pickup with our international carrier (DHL or another freight forwarder).

About the shipment

* Approximately 1,000 units.
* Estimated total weight: around 250 kg.
* Approximately 20 standard cartons after consolidation.

Requirements

* You must be based in Japan.
* You must have enough space to temporarily store around 20 cartons.
* Experience with shipping or logistics is appreciated but not required.
* Good communication in English.

This is a one-time project, and we are flexible regarding the schedule.
